Associated Facilitator

Sara Lopes da Silva

Sara Lopes da Silva is a people and culture leader with over 27 years at L’Oréal, best known for a path that began in marketing, spanning brand leadership across Vichy, La Roche-Posay, Kérastase, Carita, and Decléor, before moving into Human Relations, where she is now Human Relations Director for Portugal and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lead for Portugal and Spain.

As an Associate Facilitator at The Epic Talent Society, Sara draws on a career built at the intersection of business, culture, and people. She led Talent Acquisition and Luxury Division HR, served as Business Transformation Director across communication, digital, retail, and business intelligence, and spent four years as the company’s Ethics Correspondent, always pairing deep brand knowledge with a genuine focus on people.

In an era where organisations must earn belonging as much as performance, the question is how culture, inclusion, and wellbeing become real practice rather than slogans, and how leaders create the psychological safety that lets people say when they are not okay.

As a facilitator, Sara brings hands on experience building diversity, equity and inclusion programmes across gender, socioeconomic background, health and wellbeing, and age and generations, alongside mental health strategies grounded in prevention, training, and support, and new ways of working that protect people’s limits.

On the frontier of people and culture, Sara champions authenticity and self awareness as the foundation of leadership, challenging organisations to bridge generations, sustain high engagement without burnout, and lead with both business results and human care.
