Problemizing

Marta Baptista

Marta Baptista is an innovation facilitator who believes creativity can be engineered, best known for facilitating cultural transformations, rapid prototyping, and training for corporate clients across sectors ranging from banking to energy, government, and retail. She earned a Master’s in Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, with a thesis on Business Model Innovation, though it was reading Creative Confidence by the Kelley brothers that really sparked her fire.

At The Epic Talent Society, Marta brings her Problemizing talk, built on the conviction that sometimes finding the right problem is the best solution.

In an era where resources are always finite, the question is not how to solve faster but what to solve, because focusing on the right problems lets organisations allocate resources more efficiently and innovate more effectively.

As a speaker, Marta guides teams on a journey through innovation, echoing Voltaire’s wisdom that great ideas precede even greater ones, drawing on more than a decade of dedication to prototyping.

On the frontier of innovation, Marta challenges teams to achieve more meaningful outcomes by getting better at identifying the right problems in the first place.
