Through our network of inspiring pioneers, we provide the guidance needed to thrive in a world marked by change and uncertainty.

Founded by Tiago Forjaz two years ago, The Epic Talent Society is dedicated to liberating talent from outdated systems and fostering environments where potential can flourish.

Our offerings include engaging talks by epic speakers who explore frontier careers, competencies, job crafting, and career discovery.

At The Epic Talent Society our actions are guided by Five Principles:

Meet our team:

Tiago is the Founder & Managing Partner of The Epic Talent Society. He is a TEDx Speaker and a faculty member of SingularityU Portugal.

He is a renowned serial entrepreneur in the talent industry, best known for the launch of companies like The Star Tracker and Jason Associates, after working at multinational executive search and recruitment multinationals like Heidrick & Struggles and Michael Page.

Tiago is a creative and passionate communicator with courage and passion to lead people into the future.

He is frequently invited to talk on topics related to Talent, Transformation, Collaboration, Exponential Leadership, as well as Entrepreneurship and The Future of Work. These last years have been dedicated to working on several transformation projects, ranging from envisioning the future and facilitating new business model discovery journey’s, to cultural definition challenges.

Tiago enjoys painting, smoking cuban cigars and great cinema.

He has a degree in Economics and a Portuguese passport, although he was born and lived in South Africa until he was 13 years old, so Tiago speaks native English and Portuguese as well as Spanish.

Susana has a high sense of responsibility which privileges interpersonal relationships and is quick to pick up new information, adaptable, loyal and discrete.

Susana is a lightning-fast-problem solver. She is always sincere and direct and adds a practical sense and structure to our team. She is caring and emotional too, so she adds so much to our team environment, as she’s great at making us laugh. She is magical at keeping things grounded.

Susana’s dream was to join the Navy, but she had other plans, so she started banking and shined in real estate leasing. She started in banking for over 16 years before she joined the talent industry.

She takes care of office management and accounting, but her most important role is to “keep things grounded” and adding spice and splendor to our team. She occasionally guides our project management and research efforts.

Susana loves dancing and enjoys BTT and trekking. She loves competition and keeping things in shape, so buckle up if you want to walk the talk.

Susana holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, School of Business Sciences, Portugal.

Beatriz is a curious and focused designer with a keen eye for details who believes that good design and communication can be a huge advantage as it is the best way to solve problems and engage with others.

She welcomes new challenges and consistently searches for projects that will stimulate her creativity and make her grow. Embracing both the rational and artistic side she’s the go-to person when it comes to technical problems and creative solutions. She is very smooth to work with and believes that diversity and inclusion are key components for a better world.

Beatriz is our Design and Tech Consultant. She has worked on designing and prototyping products like our proprietary “Culture Development Cards” and the “HR Transformation Cards” for a variety of clients. She has also helped us design logos and websites for some of our internal initiatives and curated our daily workspace. She is currently responsible for finding the most promising IT tools for our work.

Before joining the company she interned at Sonae MC and worked as a freelancer.

Her passions are reading and cooking, those are the best way to escape rough days, and her computer is her best friend (so she can’t go very long without it).

She loves making a difference and just recently finished her degree in Communication Design.

Miguel seems like a character straight out of an Ian Fleming novel, as Skyfall happens to be one of his favorite movies. He’s a true modern gentleman: a natural leader, a captivating conversationalist, and a master at building genuine human connections.

With a solid career in the insurance and financial services sector, focused on business development, Miguel brings bears a sharp strategic mindset and a relationship-driven approach. His journey is backed by top-tier training in negotiation and sales from Harvard and INSEAD.

Miguel is much more than an excellent professional, he’s a true “bon vivant”. He loves cooking, playing guitar, horseback riding, and surfing – ideally surrounded by good friends.

His favorite book is Planisfério Pessoal by Gonçalo Cadilhe, and he lives by the powerful quote from Martin Luther King:
“A man who won’t die for something is not fit to live.”

As he thrives trough this career transition, Miguel is joining The Epic Talent Society to help us structure and develop our Executive Search practice.

André Barreto is a dedicated executive with an extensive international career, spanning multiple industries and sectors. Known for a proven track record in creating new business ventures and driving transformative change, André is a versatile leader with expertise across sales, marketing, financial, and executive management. As a forward-thinking entrepreneur, André has founded and led companies in various countries, excelling in strategic growth and high-stakes client engagements.

Under their leadership, has implemented innovative sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and ensure business sustainability.

Prior to Epic Talent Society, served as the Country Manager for Delta Photo in São Paulo, Brazil, from 2011 to 2023. In this role, successfully launched the company’s Brazilian branch, overseeing everything from bureaucratic procedures and team building to market analysis and product development.

Before Delta Photo, founded Destinos de Sonho, a tourism venture in Lisbon, Portugal, where they developed innovative tourism products and collaborated with high-profile clients, including Turismo de Portugal and major media outlets. Additionally, has experience in consulting and executive search having worked with Jason Associates, and in banking, having completed an internship with Millennium BCP.

In Epic, with a background in leadership, entrepreneurship, and international business, André excels at driving strategic growth, adapting to changing market landscapes, and delivering tailored solutions to diverse clients and industries.
